Just finished listeng to the new source of 10-20-84 from the TJI. After the last track, there was a recording of the GD hotline announcing the then upcoming shows at BCT and the new years run in SF.
I haven't heard that voice in years.... hearing it again made me smile!! :) :)

FWIW.... I have listened to a few of the new '84 sources that are showing up in the TJI. Alot of these are among the first handful of shows that I saw, so it is a nice trip down memory lane. The recordings themselves are also pretty damn fine to my ears. Check 'em out if summer / fall '84 is your cup of tea!!

777-TOKE. Fond memories there for sure. 1984 was the year that I first started to do full tours (East Coast) and called that hotline a lot waiting for the word on ordering tour books.

John Scher version " Thanks for calling the GD hotline and stay in touch"
